I often describe myself as a "marketing geek" because I get all hyped up over geeky things like 'conversion rates', 'value props', 'marketing strategy', and 'average selling price'. Also, I'm geeky when compared to my marketing colleagues in terms of my love of marketing technology and ability to use it productively. But that's not really the whole truth, the real reason I call myself a Geek is because I read somewhere that "the Geeks will inherit the earth", and I want my piece! I also play in a bluegrass band and spend a lot of time with my lovely family, so I'm not ALL about marketing.
